Roles and responsibilities

The function of an employee in Modern Listings is to foster, onboard, deliver and complete sales opportunities within their designated sales patch while supporting neighbouring patches to drive company performance.

Silo model

All requirements to deliver these outcomes will be provided to an employee to ensure their ability to perform without the need to consult/action other parts of the business. (Though team building, support and best practice sharing are advised).
  • Meeting, discussing and understanding the needs of sellers

  • Scheduling appointments that are suitable with the client’s schedules

  • Performing research of the local market by comparing properties and checking market activity to establish a selling price

  • Listing properties with the relevant services and amenities

  • Liaising between the buyers and sellers to negotiate prices by using their marketing abilities and knowledge

  • Taking digital photos of properties for presentation to buyers and advertising collateral

  • Revealing any new information to buyers and presenting any details about the properties seen during the research process

  • Staging home properties for visits and making a purchase offer on a property

  • Attending closing dates and providing support for clients

  • Supporting the brand ambition in creating marketing materials

Working hours & locations

We operate a flexible working policy.

Operating hours are not set and can be adapted to your working requirements taking into consideration our customer opening days advertise Monday - Saturday.

In relation to team meetings and attended events, these where possible will be set within a Mon - Fri / 10 am - 5 pm window.

Location is primarily a ‘work from home’ basis, but from time to time group working will be required.

Salary

Fixed salary: £18,000
Commission: 15% on sales generated
Estimated annual basic salary: £30,320

Performance bonus up to £4500

Full potential salary £47,500 (reaching full bonus and factoring commission to reach target)

Requirements

  • 3 years experience within the Estate Agency industry is a must.

  • Ideally you will have a good understanding of property prices across the outlined areas

  • A desire to act with integrity and be a trusted advisor - putting the customer first and to bring Modern’s performance ambition to life

  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

  • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish a deep understanding of a customer’s unique circumstance

  • Good skills in social media marketing and online advertising
